Barrow complex of Taksay is at the village Valley in the territory of the Terektinsky Region of West Kazakhstan region.

In April, 2012 the archaeological group of the West Kazakhstan regional center of history and archeology has conducted prospecting researchers in Terektinsky district therefore were is revealed 5 barrows of complexes of Taksay (I, II, III, IV, V), in the same field season in June - August are carried out excavation of barrows No. 3, No. 4, No. 6 of the Taksay I complex.

The Kurganny complex Taksay of I is located near the settlement. Valley. The complex consists of 6 earth embankments. Barrows No. No. 1, 2 the biggest on diameter and high on height.

The embankment of barrows No. No. 3, 4, 5, 6 is opened and they are in critical condition. During the field season of 2012 No. No. 3,4,6 barrows are dug out. In Barrows, No. 3,4 burials of ordinary soldiers of the late Sarmatian period of the 2-4th centuries AD are found.

In a barrow No. 6 unique burial of the woman from the honored of layers of early nomadic society is opened (Sdykov, Lukpanova, 2013). The task of this work includes his introduction to a scientific turn.
